Actidot v7.5

Actidot support

Connect your sensor, collect its activity records and create a seven-day report on your phone.

A compatible Bluetooth sensor is required. Actidot is the client for a dual-intensity step/activity counter. Report counts describe sensor-recorded limb movements or swings, including higher-intensity activity. Counts reflect movements recorded by the wearable sensor and depend on how it is worn.

1. Compatible hardware

Sensor families supported by the app
Sensor familyRecord formatConnection
Stride 1850Older, legacy sensor protocolBluetooth name starts with Stride
ActidotNewer V4 sensor protocolBluetooth name starts with Actidot

The two families use different record formats. The app selects the appropriate protocol for the supported sensor; you do not need to choose a protocol command. A matching name alone is not a promise that every unrelated sensor model is compatible. Contact support if your model cannot be read.

New data collection needs the sensor. The app does not use the phone alone as a step counter. Collection and report generation do not need internet access or an account.

2. Collect your first report

  1. Turn on the sensor and keep it close to your phone. Disconnect it from other phones, apps or mini programs.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth and allow the requested Bluetooth permission. On some Android versions, enable Location services if Bluetooth discovery requires them.
  3. Open Actidot and choose Find an Actidot sensor. Select your sensor to bind it.
  4. Choose Collect sensor data. Keep the app open and stay close until collection finishes.
  5. Select the start date for your seven-day report, then choose Generate report.

Reading records does not clear the sensor or set its clock. Use the separate Clear and Restart action only when you intend to reset stored history.

3. Understand the seven-day report

By default, the report ends on yesterday's local calendar date, excluding today's unfinished records. Choosing a start date selects that date and the next six calendar days.

Gray means no record was collected for that interval. White means a record exists, even if its activity count is zero. Gray does not mean inactivity or prove the sensor was not worn. A selected seven-day range may contain missing records; it is not proof of seven complete days of wear.

If there are no records in the chosen range, collect data or select another start date. A sensor clock error can put records on an unexpected date; do not reset the clock without first preserving the needed history.

4. Save, share and manage reports

To preview the report without a sensor, download the synthetic sample report JSON and use Import a report in Actidot. The file is labeled Actidot DEMO and contains invented example readings, including missing periods and observed zero values. It is a report-format example, not real sensor data or a substitute for testing Bluetooth collection with physical hardware. You can use Import a report on first launch without binding a sensor: choose an exported Actidot JSON file or paste its complete JSON, then import it to recalculate seven-day statistics and view the report locally. Import does not restore the sensor's internal history or collect new readings from hardware.

Reports are processed and stored locally. Your chosen sharing app, photo-sync settings or operating-system backups may create copies outside the device. Deleting a local report or uninstalling Actidot does not delete exported files, Photos, sensor records or independent backups stored outside the app. App-private backups are removed with normal app uninstall. Read the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Clear and Restart: back up first

This action permanently deletes the sensor's stored history and sets its clock. It is separate from ordinary reading and report generation.

The app first reads all stored records, saves a backup and reads the saved copy back to verify it. Clearing must stop if backup verification fails. After verification, the app clears history, sets the clock and checks the remaining records.

Repeated read-only testing does not require repeated clearing.

7. Contact Hudian Data Technology

Email czw@hd-01.com. Include your phone model, operating-system version, Actidot version, sensor model or advertised Bluetooth name, and the action that failed. You choose what to send; the app does not automatically attach records or reports.
