Actidot Android Privacy Policy
Your sensor records and reports stay in the app on your device. You choose when to save or share a copy.
1. Information used on your device
Actidot connects to a compatible Actidot or Stride Bluetooth sensor and uses its records to create seven-day activity reports. The following information is handled locally:
- Sensor name and connection identifier, to bind and reconnect to the selected sensor.
- Recorded dates, times, activity counts and higher-intensity counts, plus report dates and statistics.
- Model-dependent sensor fields, which may include raw acceleration, sequence numbers or sensor temperature. These fields describe the sensor readings.
- Collected snapshots, saved PNG/CSV/JSON reports, imported report files and locally created sensor backups.
The app does not create a user account or send these records to the publisher. It does not automatically upload reports, forward reports by email or send records to an AI service. It does not read GPS coordinates. The data remains available locally so you can reopen reports without an internet connection.
2. Permissions
Bluetooth
Bluetooth permission is used to discover, connect to and read the supported sensor. Android may request Nearby devices (Bluetooth) and Location permissions for sensor discovery. Location services may also need to be enabled. Actidot uses this access to find the Bluetooth sensor and does not read your GPS coordinates.
Photo additions
When you choose Save report to album, the app copies that report image to the Actidot album on your Android device. On Android 9 and earlier, saving also requests storage permission. The app does not read your existing photo library. You can manage permissions in your device settings.
3. Sharing, exports and system services
Share report image and Export report files start only when you choose them. You select the destination in the operating system's share sheet. Your chosen app or recipient then handles that copy under its own practices.
Photos, exported files and operating-system backups may be synchronized or backed up outside the device according to your settings. Actidot does not control those services. Saving a photo or choosing a sharing destination can therefore create a copy outside the app.
Opening a support or product website is also your choice. That website and its hosting service handle ordinary web requests; opening it does not automatically send your sensor records or reports.
4. Storage and deletion
- Saved reports: the app's report list keeps up to 20 reports. Use Delete in Saved reports to remove a report from the local library and its app-managed archive. Separately saved copies are not deleted.
- Unbind sensor: removes the current binding and collected snapshot. Saved reports and separately retained backups remain.
- Clear and Restart: affects the physical sensor's stored history. The app first reads, saves and verifies a backup before it clears history and sets the sensor clock. See the backup and clearing instructions.
- Uninstall: normally removes app-private storage, including backups stored inside that private storage. It does not delete sensor history, saved Photos, exported files or independent backups kept outside the app. Delete those copies where you saved them.
Temporary files prepared for sharing may remain in the app's cache until the app or operating system removes them. Operating-system backups may retain or restore app data according to your device settings. Keep any needed independent copy before uninstalling; uninstalling is not a way to erase every previously saved or shared copy.
Reports received or saved using earlier versions are historical copies. Deleting a local report cannot recall copies previously saved or shared outside the app.
5. Support contact
Email czw@hd-01.com if you need help with Actidot or this policy. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send so we can respond. Do not send sensor records or report images unless you choose to include them for support.
For questions about a support message you sent us, including a deletion request, contact the same address. The publisher cannot remotely view or erase reports that stay only in your app, your sensor or a sharing recipient's system.
6. About this policy
This policy describes the offline Actidot v7.5 Android release. If the app's practices change, the policy and applicable store disclosures will be updated. The date above identifies this policy version. The iPhone and iPad policy is published separately.
